The Japanese/Iraqi Institute for Archaeological Studies (JIAEM) grants its trust for the third time to the Dean of Mazaya University College, Prof. Dr. Imad Ibrahim Dawood, to occupy the position of regional cultural adviser to the institute in Iraq/Ur region. Note that the role of the cultural adviser is based on encouraging the exchange of students in archeology colleges in the two countries, providing advice to Japanese archaeological missions working in Ur, as well as exchanging relevant research topics and holding joint workshops and seminars in the service of the great Iraqi heritage.
