Mazaya University College hosts the twelfth meeting of the Committee of Deans of Education Faculties in Iraqi universities. The meeting included 31 deans from the various governorates of the country from North to South. The respected President of Dhi Qar University, Prof. Dr. Yahya Abdul-Ridha Al-Khafaji, also attended the meeting.

The meeting came in response to the invitation of the representative of the private colleges in the committee, Prof. Dr. Imad Ibrahim Dawood, the respected Dean of Mazaya University College.

Professor Dr. Nassif Jassim Al-Khafaji, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Education, presented many ministerial requirements in the meeting, the main focus of which was the development of the curricula of the colleges of education in Iraq and the development of qualitative scientific departments that contribute to supply the labor market with graduates within the global contexts that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education is working on. It is worth noting that the Committee of Deans of the Faculties of Education is the largest committee in the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education, which plays an important role in the process of leading and converging views between the Faculties of Education and the government program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
