Crime was born with the birth of man, its motivation is Satan, and its prevention is the fear of God, as stated in Surat Al-Ma’idah, verse 28. Crime preoccupied the prophets, messengers, scholars, guardians, and clerics. It preoccupies everyone because it confiscates security and creates chaos and anxiety. The punishment was the deterrent in divine and man-made legislation, in order to combat the spread of crime and protect the individual and society
